Welcome to Viva Pinata Facts

As you can probably tell, we are absolutely crazy about everything that is Viva Pinata. We watch the Television show and we spend a lot of time playing the console games.

What is Viva Pinata

Viva Pinata is all about the world of Pinata. In between Parties the Pinatas live on Pinata Island where they get up to mischeif and other antics. When a party request comes in the Chosen Pinata is rounded up and sent off to a party at Party Central.

Once the Pinata is returned it is repaired and released back to Pinata Island.

The Cartoon series of Viva Pinata is based on the adventures of the Pinatas in between parties. The show runs for approximately 30 minutes and usually consists of two mini episodes. It is proving to be a popular choice among kids and it is getting quite a following.

There are also a number of games out based on the Viva Pinata series. The first game to be released was "Viva Pinata" and was produced by Rare. The purpose of this game was for the player to design a garden, attract the various Pinatas into their garden and then romance them to make new Pinata. This is an open ended game and is very addictive. This game proved to be a big hit and has a large following of players who exchange hints and meet each other online to play in their gardens.

The next game to be released was "Viva Pinata Party Animals" which was produced by KROME Studios in Australia. The purpose of this game was to play the various mini games and win pinata races. It's a lot of fun, but had fairly limited game play.

Hot on it's heels came "Viva Pinata - Trouble In Paradise". This was the second release for RARE and was eagerly awaited by it's many fans. This game is very similar to thierfirst release, but now you can hunt your Pinatas and various bugs were fixed. The garden area has also been expanded and they have mixed in the garden building with mini games (similar to Viva Pinata Party Animals).

There is also a version of Viva Pinata that was released on the Nintendo DS called "Viva Pinata Pocket Paradise".
